Fern Floral Studio — a jewel box of Columbia, South Carolina. During my time here as a studio assistant and later, floral designer, I learned about my love for zinnias, ranunculus, scabiola and anthurium flowers. I learned that I love using my hands to create. I learned that there is such beauty in impermanence and that flowers never try to be perfect - they simply open their petals and turn to the light. I now understand the importance of community and celebrating life’s big moments and small moments.
